Why does bluetooth slow down on a Mac under heavy load?
Hello!
For a long time I have been experiencing the problem that on a poppy, with a strong load of the processor (more than 50%), bluetooth slows down. And it slows down so much that it's impossible to use the keyboard (I have BT) Claudia. Accordingly, I can’t talk via facetime on the phone (via iPhone)
Also, bluetooth brakes are observed during high network activity (downloading a large file from the server, for example)
Note data:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Bluetooth
adapter data
Apple Bluetooth Software Version: 4.4.5f3 17904
Manufacturer: Broadcom
Transport: USB
Chipset: 20702B0
Firmware Version: v118 c9121
Actually, the question is, can something be done about it? For example, reflash the chip, or buy a newer one (if any)
Thanks in advance
