Why does An error occurred occur in Nginx?

When clicking on links on a site with Wordpress CMS, sometimes an Nginx error "An error occurred" occurs in the logs:
*54388 recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading response header from upstream, client: client IP address, server: site.ru, request: "GET /news HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:", host: "site.ru"
Please tell me what could be the reason for this behaviour?

As a result, by trial and error, I found that after increasing worker_connections to 2000 and setting worker_processes to 2, the errors disappeared and still have not appeared. I decided to unsubscribe, so that perhaps infa someone will need in case of a similar problem.
