Why does an Android application reboot a device when working with a camera?

Hello!
I've been having this problem for a long time, but haven't found a solution yet.
In general, the essence is that the android application, when working with the camera (it doesn’t matter, through Camera or OpenCV), periodically reboots the device. Just like that, without warning - once and reboot.
Perhaps because of the load on the percent, I do not know. It is unlikely that there is a memory leak - even the simplest applications crash.
I draw your attention - this does not always happen, in about 10% of all program launches.
How to catch and what to do?

On all devices or one particular one?

I don’t remember where, but I remember exactly that such a chip occurs when the memory is overloaded.
This feature began with the era of androids for tablets (if memory serves 3.0, some kind of honey name). Cured in firmware 5.0 and higher.
