Why does Adobe Premiere freeze when importing 4k video?

I shoot on canon r6 at 4k 50fps, shot at 81gb, try to import to prime and it immediately hangs (I tried to wait, it doesn’t help), and the prime was both 19 years old and 20 and 21 years old and everywhere there is one problem. I can shove less than half if in parts, but the remaining videos are not in any. What is the problem? And on 2 computers the same
Iron 1st:
i5 10400
32gb ram
1tb ssd
1050ti
win10x64

And 2nd:
i7-10700K
1660 super
16gb ram
1tb ssd
win10x64

@oper49

Faced the same problem on AP 2021. For a long time I could not understand what the problem was. The answer was somewhere nearby, but I had to suffer. Everything turned out to be simple, my Toughram rgb ddr4-4400mhz (4x8Gb) RAM turned out to be very small for importing 4K 60fps. As a result, I had to increase the swap file on NVMe. I created a separate 50Gb disk in win10 (as a swap file, as a result, the RAM became a total volume of 82Gb) and it all worked (imported)!
IMHO: 16Gb and 32Gb of RAM is insanely small for working in AR 2021 with files in 4K 50-60fps with a total volume of more than 50 Gb. Try it and see for yourself. It will not work - write in a personal. I'll be glad to help.

Because no one shoves 81gb 4k 60fps into the program.
+ 100% non-editing codec, so you're out.
ALWAYS , use proxy
ps
PC is weak for such tasks
