Why does a laptop freeze without BSOD?

Hello. A week ago I bought an acer nitro 515-44 EL laptop. Everything works great. Here's just one problem, when you open certain programs, the computer hangs. Then 2 scenarios, either the laptop will droop, but the program will close, or the laptop will completely turn into a brick (no reboot anywhere).
It appears similar when deploying the netlimiter application. However, today, when trying to install fbreader (I did not even start the installation, I opened the installer itself), the same problem arose, but the sound also cracked (music played).
Benchmarks of the video card and processor pass without problems. What could be the problem. Thanks in advance.
Z.s. such problems do not always occur. Now, it turned out to install the program)

1) test memory
2) maybe a bridge blade
3) maybe crooked firewood (I have linux with nvidia gt710 hangs without firewood, i.e. with open firewood (sometimes = you can’t guess = it can work without glitches, and sometimes I’ll fight after turning on X-s hangs),
and the system is installed only in the compatibility mod (with a small resolution of 800x600)
+ after installing the native / proprietary firewood, it works fine,
but these are the costs of video or incompatibility with a specific mother (I took a new one for 1 thousand, but the markdown, while it works, is already more than 2 -s years
