Why does a laptop and monitor display the same color differently?

I use an Asus laptop and an Acer monitor at work. The color is #ee970e, but it looks different on both monitors.

What monitor shows color incorrectly? Are there any services for checking and how to properly configure the monitor in general? The usual adjustment of brightness-saturation-contrast does not help - other colors change.

To be completely correct, you need to color-calibrate each monitor. But printers usually do this, they need to see what will turn out later on paper (they also calibrate scanners and printers). A website or software developer must remember that users have different monitors, and product design should not depend on small color distortions.

This is where monitors are calibrated.

It depends on the matrix. TN, IPS, etc. Usually in laptops TN-ki are not of the best quality, here are the colors for you :)
