Why does a blank PDF open in Google Chrome?

I ran into a very strange problem, in the Google Chrome browser files do not open in view mode, or rather the file itself opens but its contents are not displayed, just a gray screen. In other browsers (Firefox, Edge, Safari) everything is fine!
