I use. Lots of benefits. The speed of work is higher through hotkeys. Dual-window mode, bookmarks, toolbars and much more...

I will not talk about Total Commander, but about the whole class of programs - two-panel file managers.
1. Convenient operation without a mouse.
2. A habit from the days of Norton.
3. Viewer and editor.
4. A simple call to something from the command line.
5. (now irrelevant, it was on Windows XP) As one of the two "condoms" against autorun-virus infection (the second is disabled autorun).
6. Easy access to important directories.

I found one fat plus - it's search by content ... oh yes, when you dig some CMS and want to find out where this fucking element is created, just enter the name of the class into the content search, and it will display all the files where it occurs ..the beauty

I will add to the above: tc has a number of flexible tools for bulk operations with files and directories, which are not needed by everyone, but are simply irreplaceable for many.
for example: highlighting, renaming, copying file names with or without full paths, comparing directories, etc.

I use. I like it very much, although there is a very cool ftp in the usual explorer.
Two-window mode, as well as several connections, the ability to remember connections, customization, hot keys, it all really decides. Classic, and better personally I have not yet seen.
Musthave.
