Why do websites take a long time to load on Azure?

Good day!
The bottom line is this: I created a virtual machine (location Western Europe), installed Lamp (I collected everything myself), loaded the forum. But the site takes a long time to load. I don't understand why, maybe because of the location? Who faced it?
PS: Before installing MemCached (for some reason it doesn't work on the forum) and APC, the site took even longer to load.

PSS: It may seem to someone that it still loads normally, but it needs to be even faster :). I tried it on various (free and paid) hosting, so the forum flew there, even the installation of the forum took place in a few seconds. Comparing with the installation on a virtual machine - the difference is in minutes.
PSSS: I guess it's all about MySQL, but I still want to hear the opinion of experts.

Hello. And itself virtualka on what disks? If you have a load on MySQL, then you need hosting on SSD disks. It's more likely not in the configuration, but in the Wirth machine itself. There's not much you can learn about the problem from your forum link alone.

Used D2. Keeps on SSD, 2 prots, 7 GB of RAM.
