Why do we need shredder programs?

Why are they needed if they almost do not cope with any tasks, for example, with files that have access rights errors, and, being an administrator, I could not delete them.
They also cannot cope with long files, in fact, like the usual RMB - Delete.

I would be glad to hear programs that cope with such tasks.

So that after deletion it was impossible to restore the file. In fact, the deletion itself is no different from RMB-delete. But then zeros or random are written in the same areas.

The shredder program does not delete incomprehensible files, it simply deletes the file and cleans the place where it was recorded so that the information cannot be restored

Well, judging by the name - for guaranteed deletion of information.

Why do you need a computer if it does not cope with any tasks? He doesn't know how to make coffee or go to the store.

With what tasks? Deleting files for which you do not have rights, or the path to which is very long? There are no such programs.
Ensure the rights and make the name shorter - and delete it with any program.

But is it really the task of an ordinary shredder to "remove" glass, picture frames, flash drives and hard drives? No, its task is to "remove" paper documents (and for some models - DVDs), but in such a way that it cannot be read - literally in 1x1 mm confetti.
So the task of the shredder program is to delete the file in such a way that it cannot be restored by most household methods (the guaranteed impossibility of recovery can only be ensured by demagnetizing the screw in the microwave or by physically destroying the ssd or flash drive into dust).
The shredder program repeatedly overwrites the space occupied by the file with garbage patterns - zeros, ones, "chess" (0x5555 or 0xAAAA)
