Why do some releasing domains work just fine?
Almost constantly I encounter the fact that the domains that are being released are not so free, many of them hang in Sedo in the parking lot. And in whois it is shown that everything, the domain has already been deleted, in the vacant ones, but when you go, it leads to a parking lot with a purchase offer

Somehow, the owner of the com zone, in my opinion, did such a trick - he added to the zone
* IN A here.ip.his.site.with.offer.buy
well, or something similar
Yes, if we are talking about the .RU domain, then the date in paid-till means until what date the domain was registered. After this date, the domain will be parked by the registrar with the message "Domain not renewed" until the free-date (paid-till + 30 days), and after this date until the domain is actually deleted.
The domain may not be deleted on the scheduled date if the domain is blocked by a court order for the duration of the proceedings. An example of such domains: smc.ru, skan.ru, etc.
Domains are deleted on the second working day after weekends and holidays until the end of the working week. Usually, this is from Tuesday to Friday inclusive. Therefore, if a domain is scheduled for deletion on Sunday, it is likely that it will be deleted on Tuesday or Wednesday.
If there are many domains to delete, only 10,000 domains per day will be deleted in each registry (.RU and .РФ separately). Thus, after weekends or long holidays (hello, New Year!), deletion can be postponed for several days or weeks in a row.
When the deletion date is postponed, the date in whois and the registration service for vacant domains does not change. This is a technical feature of the registry.
Information about deleting a particular domain appears at about 12:10 Moscow time. The domain receives a special pendingDelete status, which means that the domain is unambiguously deleted at 17:00 Moscow time on the same day. If the status does not appear, then the domain will not be deleted.
