Why do many large sites go without "captions"?

I mean, a movie, game or other program usually has an About section or About the authors, where everyone who had a hand in it is listed, but large sites (especially news ones) don’t have this? Why do people who make a bunch of software products end up in the shadows?
You can check: CNN, BBC, Euronews, RT and etc

There is such a project Humans.txt , the purpose of which is just “to tell about people on the other side of the site”.
In general, this is already an editorial desire to indicate or not to indicate all participants in the process. Some sites indicate that the author of the material is a certain person or group of people. Technicians can be identified, and are sometimes referred to as "Designed"/"Made" by a certain division or third party, and they themselves decide whether to advertise their names or not.

For the same reason that the name of the worker who assembled it is not written on the windshield of a BMW.

With regard to news sites, the developers are not the authors of the content that is the purpose of creating these sites, they only provide services to the company in the technical support of their products. And in general, the essence of the site is the content, the very design and technical implementation is the second plan.

Do you want to make your own analogue of IMDB with blackjack and programmers? :)
It's strange that titles are preserved in modern films. In fact, no one ever watches them. It makes absolutely no difference who was the 3rd assistant to the 2nd director. It is enough just to list the key people, often this has already been done in the intro.

If you liked some element, it doesn’t matter, on the site or in the movie, for example, a processing script or makeup artists, then it’s usually not difficult to find the final artist. But I would remove the titles from the films. The person came to see the film, not a long list of actors of all plans and studio personnel, up to and including "clearing managers". On special sites about films, let all this information be, whoever wants to find it. And the rest so as not to annoy.
It's the same with the site, why do I need extra non-thematic content? No, if some master had a hand in the site and I really want to write about it - please. And I don't see the point.
I imagine a site on which, before viewing the content, it will be necessary to view the credits with everyone who took part in its creation. Our people are evil, the developers will strongly hiccup from the "good" wishes, parting words and value judgments of users about them)
