Why do I see a person in my Skype contacts list that I didn't add to my contacts?

Looking through the full list of contacts, I came across an old friend whom I did not add on this Skype account. Absolutely not added. Screenshot:

Please note that the contact icon is green, i.e. authorized contact. And what is remarkable, in the messages panel of this person there is no line "Show messages: Yesterday, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months". For comparison, I found my oldest contact with whom I had not communicated for more than a year, and there is such a line: The

question is, what was it? Skype glitch, someone got access to my account and authorized this person, or what other options?
