Why do I need to enter all the settings manually to access the network?

Ordinary subscriber Internet.
To connect to the network using wi-fi, you need to manually enter all the settings on the device (ip address, gateway, subnet mask, etc.).
For example, on a smartphone, choose not DHCP, but a static ip and register everything manually.
And so with each new device (computer, smartphone, tablet). Settings are saved until you reset them yourself.
What could be the problem and how to solve it?
Perhaps the problem is in the router settings?

Yes, you do not have a DHCP server configured on your router.
