Partnership programs

Why do affiliate programs give less than 50%?

I surf the sites and often watch affiliate programs. But I have not seen a single one that was given more than 50%. How so? After all, there can be many partners and they can generate quite a profit if they are given more than 50%, and the site can go to the mass. Or am I thinking wrong?

@m77x

here you immediately put two tags: referral program and affiliate program
All mixed together. In order to understand the difference, I will explain to you: An
affiliate program is a branch of some service, let's say hosting. You cannot cheat more than 75% of the selling price for you, therefore your maximum income will be 25%. This is due to accounting standards pr... The
reseller program is simpler - you buy, say, a server (rent) at the same price, and regardless of how many clients you have, you pay for it yourself. And for how many and to what number of clients you sell part of the server - this is your profit, they can reach 2x and 4x - it all depends on you. But do not forget to file a tax return if you are running a business))
A referral program is a type of marketing strategy to attract even more users. Actually, instead of spending on advertising, remuneration is paid to the referee. It is optimal to spend no more than 10-15% of the profit on advertising. The reward depends on the level of the referral system. If you see more - feel free to pass by - this is another MMM.
