Why didn't Dropbox take away the bonus seat from the Great Space Race promotion?

On February 26, 2015 at 1:19 am, I received an email from Dropbox saying that the bonus space (25 GB) received as part of the Space Race campaign will be taken from my account on March 4, but to this day so nothing was taken away, which I am certainly very happy about.
Maybe someone found information on the net about why they did not take it away? Maybe they changed their mind?
