Why did the video card stop working on a certain computer?
The other day I cleaned my PC from dust. After assembly, the built-in speaker produces a long beep and 2-3 short beeps (the pause is very short; Award bios). I took the video card to a friend; it works great for him. I also installed an old video card on my computer, it works. The bios settings were also reset (by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, but this did not help. A year ago there was a similar problem (I also took the same video card to a friend), but it resolved itself. What needs to be done to combine the video card and computer?

Maybe the PSU has degraded or the conders on the motherboard are swollen?
Try to clean the contacts of the video card, in some cases this may help.
I'm not strong in hardware, I'll just say that somehow a year ago I encountered the same anomaly: the card worked on any computer, but it stopped on mine. After a friend replaced the conders on the video card, it began to start up every other time, everything is just as stable on others.
You have to put it in well. Perhaps - connect additional power if it was.
