Why did the sound disappear on Windows-7?
Good afternoon.
Yesterday - I updated the driver for the video card
And, of course, the driver for the sound right away.
Then the sound disappeared.
Rollbacks didn't help.
In the control panel --- sound --- the default device is selected - Realtek Digital Output
And the button - by default - is not active !!!
RMB
on Dynamics
-- Enabled
? so (sorry for the quality filmed on the phone) And what should
I
do now
?

Look in device manager to see if the Realtek sound card is there.
If there is, look where the speakers / headphones are inserted.
Realtek has a nuance - auto-detection in the front connectors of the case does not work. To make it work, you need to turn it off.
If the control icon is gone (after the update) - it happens. Try different driver versions. R281, R282. There is also a separate version for new dozens - with metro control.
