Why did the reset turn off the system unit?

For a long time the computer stood in ... let's say not very clean room, where there was dust and "fixies" (sort of, with a long mustache). Vacuumed, removed memory, video card. After I put it back - for some reason it freezes once a day - tightly and for some reason when you press the reset button, the car turns off. Windu is not a pity - all the same, soon to rearrange. Could this be an iron problem (for example, "fixies" shorted something)?
