Why did the password on the phone change?

Phone Samsung Galaxy J4, Put a password, and used it as usual. Today everything was fine, but I put the phone aside and set it to lock. When I took it and tried to unlock it, it says the wrong password was entered, although the password is correct! The phone is not rooted, I can connect via adb, rooting in adb does not work either.
It does not pass through findmymobile, because the remote unlock function is disabled. Tried deleting files like locksettings.db and so on. but Permission denied. Also, before blocking the phone, I noticed that the phone's memory had run out (a window with this inscription was displayed) How can I unlock the device without a hard reset?

I know, earlier on old android devices it was like this: if you enter the password or pattern incorrectly about 15 times, then you need a password from google play to unlock it. Try that again.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, it happened several times. Tel stupidly refused to accept the correct password. But a reboot did the trick. Not a hard reset, but a simple reboot.
