Why did the password for the rar archive no longer fit?

There is a rar archive with a password that is already 10 years old. Last year I made another archive and, in order not to get confused with the password, I made the same password as the old one. At the beginning of this year, I opened a new archive a couple of times, the password was right, everything is fine. The archive itself is on a flash drive and a copy in the cloud.
A few days ago I decided to open the archive, but the password does not fit. I tried the archive from both the flash drive and the cloud. I tried the old first archive, the password came up. Although I am sure of the password, I tried it with a program that picks up passwords, I tried it, it seems to me, all the options for the passwords I use in general.
What could be wrong with the archive? I changed the date of the computer for the time when it opened, I don’t know what else to try. Some files that are in the archive are simply outside the archive, but with rar, as I understand it, this will not help. There may be some non-obvious story, I’m fantasizing now, for example with a file system, such as an archive was created on fat32, and now it’s different. Maybe something like that, and not just I forgot my password?

I remembered the password))) It seemed to me that I clearly remember that when I come up with a password, I make it the same as the old archive, so as not to forget. And it's only 4 digits, i.e. I would open it with a brute force in a minute, but I set the brute force settings from 6 to 7 characters in the password guesser, since I most often have such passwords if at least 8 characters are not required.
Conclusion archives do not deteriorate over time, but the brain deteriorates. But anyway, the topic is useful for me, thank you all, I almost could not remember for a week, probably the question helped me remember.

A classic user error, changing the keyboard layout, for example, you used to have a Russian-language layout by default, and now English. The default layout in the default system settings is set automatically for each new window (this can be changed)
Also, check the functionality of the keyboard (and this time one of the password buttons began to work worse), reduce the password typing speed (when speed dialing, the buttons skip or change the order ).
