Why did the laptop stop charging?
I bought a new laptop Dell Inspiron 5567, after a week it stopped charging. When turned on, it says "The AC power adapter type cannot be determined". Through the bios I turned off this notification, but it still does not charge. In any OS, it shows 8% and does not charge. When the adapter is connected to the laptop, the charging indicator on the laptop lights up, and after a few seconds it goes out. What to do? I don’t think that the charging is defective, after all, a new laptop, and it was charging all this time normally.

First, disabling the notification will not do anything. And secondly, did you translate this notification?
It translates to: "Your power adapter type is not detected. Your system will run slower and your battery will not charge."
this situation can arise for a number of reasons:
1. The microcircuit responsible for identifying the adapter type has burnt out.
2. Damaged power adapter.
3. Damaged power connector.
4. BIOS flashing
5. Replacing / adding RAM.
In the first three cases, to independently solve the problem, you may need the ability to own a soldering iron.
In the fourth case, you can try to roll back to the previous BIOS version or try to flash it with a DMI update.
In the fifth case, we pull out the memory bar that we installed, reboot, reset the BIOS to default, and try to install it again.
