Why did the errors in the ram bar disappear after checking memtest86?

One bar of the operative began to fail and cause blue screens, if it was pulled out, it became normal. I checked it through memtest, at the first pass of the tests there were 5000 errors, at the second 1500, at the third 3, there were no further errors. At the same time, on the first passes, the errors were on different tests, but on the same small memory area. This happens about once every six months, the rest of the time everything works fine.
If the errors are in the same area, then these are hardware errors, but then how can they suddenly disappear?
