Why did my Nexus 4 stop working after upgrading to KitKat?

I waited on my Nexus 4 update Android 4.4 (OTA).
After the request to reboot - rebooted. There is a new animation when starting Android.
And that's it. It hung. This animation has been spinning for several minutes and nothing else happens.
I have ClockwordMod Recovery v6.0.3.4
I tried reboot recovery there, it did not help. Then he decided and chose "wipe data / factory reset" - sort of like a return to the factory settings. It did not help - after rebooting the same endless animation of the android logo 4.4
What should I do?

Install the 4.3 image, install the standard ROM manager and then upgrade to 4.4

When I flashed the bootloader on SXSL, it was separately allocated so that in no case should the OTA update be applied, otherwise a brick is possible. Here it is described how to fix in case of such trouble. Might work for Nexus too.

in fact, they still say .. you can not use OTA if there is a custom recovery

The point here is that the bootloader in 4.4 is different from 4.3.
As a note - if Wi-Fi or connection does not work - update or roll back the baseband to the version corresponding to your firmware.
