Why did LAN connections disappear in the Control Panel (Network Connections) of Windows 7?
There is a problem on Windows 7 x64, without SP1.
I tried to set up ICS to distribute the Internet from a computer via WiFi, I found that in the control panel (Network Connections) LAN connections disappeared - only two modems are displayed. Without network connections, it will not be possible to configure ICS. It is impossible to configure through the netsh ICS console in Win 7 - netsh routing, available in WinXP, is cut out.
I found the article support.microsoft.com/kb/825826/ru "Troubleshooting missing network connection icons in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP". Did almost everything, network connections did not appear.
What is most interesting - in fact, the Internet is there, it works in accordance with the configuration performed earlier.
Therefore, I ask the Habra community to help - how to return all network connections back to the control panel?
