Why did indexing decrease after switching to https?

Why did site indexing decrease after switching to https?

Now in the tool for webmasters I added a site with https again. Will this be enough or do I need to do something else? Or is everything fine and Google just started indexing the https version? And the data for it will appear after a while? Yandex also does not show data for a non-https version (for example, search queries). For https, it says that there are no statistics. Do I need to do something with Yandex?

Naturally, the number of pages with the http protocol has fallen. Now they are indexed with the https protocol. Have you verified the version with https in Tools?

Most likely here is your solution: roma.net.ua/internet-marketing/seo/indeksirovanie-...

It is logical to look at the section with indexing errors, but you did a complete redirection of pages from http to https

I've read how people's sites are pouring in the search results after the transition, and I didn't want to switch to https :)
In the meantime, I already bought a certificate, and the site is already available in both versions. I sit and think, maybe 2 days have not passed yet to redirect from https to http?
