"+1" button from google?
I integrated the +1 button from Google into the site (there are two buttons on the main page).
Having opened the firebug, it turned out that two buttons make 11 (!) requests to Google and add 109 (!!) kb to the weight of the site.
Here's an example of a page with nothing but two buttons:
shortiki.com/plusone.html
Am I doing something wrong, or is it just poorly implemented?

I don’t know if it will help you or not, but it seems to help me a little: socialmediaautomat.com/jquery-gplusone-js.php
Everything is fine with you. It remains only to wait and hope that Google will fix it. Although, with the modern quality of the Internet, this is practically not essential.
The second time already 105 KB are coming from the cache. Even for the first time, two requests are repeated, most likely some of the scripts are loaded from the cache.
What if you post code like this? habrahabr.ru/blogs/google/125075/
By the way, I don't understand why on the English version (http://www.google.com/intl/en/webmasters/+1/button/) of generating the +1 button, this code is issued, but in Russian (http://www.google.com/intl/ru/webmasters/+1/button/) no.
Indeed, at today's speed, I didn’t even notice that the button was so “heavy”.
And so that the validation does not stumble about the button, I generally dynamically add all these social buttons to the page.
