Why did .htaccess stop working after moving to another VPS?

Moved to VPS from digitalocean and .htaccess stopped working There is a
bunch of nginx-apache.
.htaccess files are simply not connected (Apache does not swear at errors, if any).
Apache config:
AccessFileName .htaccess
AllowOverride All
Where to look?

The path was entered incorrectly in the apache config
