Why did ctfmon.exe start running in Windows 10?
Not once since the installation of Windows 10 have I noticed that ctfmon.exe was running, and now it has appeared.
Another process appeared msdtc.exe. Both processes are restarted if cut down in the task manager.
It seems that he did nothing special, but where did these processes come from? I have strong suspicions of viruses or hacking.
Also, a message began to appear in DotA that something was blocking VAC.

It is unlikely that these are viruses, these are system processes, ctfmon.exe is responsible for switching the keyboard layout.
In general, if there are suspicions that viruses have settled, then it is better to check the computer with an antivirus, and not randomly cut down running processes.
And the answer to your question is easily found by a search engine.
I have this process hanging all the time. There were no suspicions.
The same messages appeared several times in CS:GO - ctfmon had nothing to do with it.
ctfmon - the process responsible for changing the input method (pen, keyboard, others).
It seems that (somehow I didn’t have to work on a system without an office) appears only with MS OFFICE
MSDTC - a system service
in general, the answer is googled by keywords: Google gives links to MS articles and a brief description of both processes, though in English.
