Why did adMob / adSense cost per click drop?
Hello.
I have a couple of Android apps. I have been using adMob advertising in the application for a year now. Every month the number of users grows and earnings for the month also grew. But the last 2 - 3 months earnings have fallen sharply. CPC averaged $0.08 - $0.12 fell to $0.01.
The only thing I've done in the last couple of months is adding another app with ads to the market. The new application did not become popular. I met somewhere on the forums a post that if a successful and unsuccessful application is connected to the same adSense account, then the unsuccessful one somehow affects the CPC in the successful one. Although it seemed to me that prices began to fall even earlier.
I want to ask knowledgeable people, is the assumption above correct? Are you seeing price drops in your account? And most importantly - what could be the reasons for the decrease in the cost of clicks and how do you increase earnings in adSense?

Have you noticed the systemic crisis in Russia? Small business, just a context consumer, is dying in batches due to the crisis and new taxes, or sitting in a trench without making any complex gestures because the demand for all goods / services has fallen sharply (people began to earn stupidly half as much due to inflation and the devaluation of the ruble) . Those who stayed, of course, reduce costs, so the price of a click in Russia has become garbage. Focus on the west if you want to earn something on adsense. This is a long term trend.
