Why can there be a freeze for 10-20 seconds on the new WD Blue hdd?
Hello! There is a PC that I assembled 2 weeks ago
Everyone advised me to take an HDD (for games) + SSD (for the system). I took WD Blue (model on the screen above).
And now to the core of the problem. I put CS GO and The Shadow Of the Tomb Raider on this hdd and tried to play, after 5 minutes of playing any game freezes for 10-20 seconds, at this moment I see on the dispatcher that the load on the disk has increased to 100%
On hdd , which in the old computer, which is already 9 years old (Seagate Barracuda 1 TB), everything is fine, nothing slows down, everything is ok, but with the new WD Blue, these freezes.
Next, I rearranged all the games on ssd and voila - not a single frieze in 10 days of playing.
Because ssd is limited in volume, I would like games to still be on hdd, can you tell me how to solve the problem?
PS
Here's a SMART hdd:
And here's a speed test from CrystalDiskMark:
Also here's info about the swap file:

The problem is not clear and there are not enough reasons to return it to the store, but I noticed that your head parking counter is higher than the inclusion counter.
You may have heads parked and repositioned.
Google WDIdle3 program, maybe it will help with head parking issue.
