Why can't you hear me on Skype and I can't hear?

The microphone and headphones work fine and they are normally visible in Skype. The settings are checked. On a call to the verification center or to another person, nothing is heard.
As far as I understand, the problem is in the transmission of rtp traffic. But why would such a problem suddenly arise for a user on Win10? There was no problem yesterday. The user does not have rights to edit Firewall rules.

Check the microphone sensitivity level. Usually Skype automatically raises it, but different things can happen.
