Why can't Win10 Home be the host?
Good afternoon.
There is a PC - on it "with a bandage of a pirate" installed Win10 LTSB assembly with a bunch of cut rubbish from MS.
And recently a laptop was bought from the faces. Win10 home.
The problem is that in the local network in games, only a PC can be a server - the laptop sees the created rooms with games.
If you create a server on a laptop, nothing is visible from the computer.
Both are in WORKGROUP. IP in one zone, the difference is only in the number at the end.
I conclude that some access is blocked from the laptop.
What needs to be checked?
WiFi network transferred to Private (was public). Turned off the firewall, Windows Defender too. Antivirus on both machines without firewall - Bitdefender Free.
