Why can't ubuntu18.04 see my router?
Notebook Acer Aspire.
Neighbor sees, mine does not. The router is 100% working.
Bios updated, latest ubuntu kernel (5.4.1).
I've used a different router before with no problems.
What else to do?

What broadcast channel is selected on the router? Try putting it somewhere in the middle. For example 4-7.
Perhaps the router broadcasts in a non-standard channel: for example, 12. And ubuntu does not support all the functions of your Wi-Fi card.
The second option on the router is to check the broadcast standards. Perhaps only n is allowed. Try adding g (b/g/n).
