Why can't pull through visual studio tools for git?

Hello!
Has anyone experienced issues pushing changes through visual studio tools for git for visual studio 2012 update 4? I get an error with the text "error was raised by libgit2. Category=unknown(error)." Though commit in a local repository is carried out without problems. The current version also downloads without problems. Tried in visual studio 2015 CE - everything works without problems.
