Why can't photos and audio files open after reinstalling windows 7?
Recently, I decided to reinstall windows, because the antivirus deleted some system file for me, after deleting which windows stopped starting. In general, I reinstalled windows 7, installed the drivers, the applications I needed and noticed one very unpleasant thing - the photo and audio files stopped opening when you double-click the mouse (maybe something else does not open, though I haven’t found it yet). To clarify, when I click on a photo, the wheel next to the mouse pointer appears for a second and nothing happens. I tried to "open with" in paint - the photo opened. But oddities also happen with the audio, nothing happens when you double-click the mouse, but if you right-click on this file and select "add to playlist", then the audio file will open in the windows player.
Tell me what to do in such a situation?
PS The computer still has Linux, I do not rule out that I could screw up when installing it. Put the second operating system for review. Perhaps this is the problem, since I partitioned the C drive into C and E, and then bit off part of the memory for Linux from E and may have overlooked something. However, this is just speculation.

RMB - open with - select another application.
In the list that appears, there will most likely be a program option that suits you.
Do not forget to check the box at the bottom of the list, after that - OK.
We check.
If it doesn't work, try another program from the list.
If there are no other programs, there is an option to manually specify the path to the program.
