Why can't it boot from a flash drive?
All my attempts to install manjaro from a flash drive are killed by a black screen and nothing helps. I will list what I have already tried:
1. I downloaded the manjaro xfce 16.10.3 image from off site
2. I recorded unetbootin, rufus, win32diskimager (I tried all 3)
3. Secure Boot is disabled in the BIOS!
4. Registered in GRUB "nomodeset" and "quiet splash".
None of this helped. True, when I added "quiet splash" (initially it was not there for some reason), the logo began to load (manjaro inscription and loading points), but then the black screen hung again.

I checked. The iso image is not loaded from a flash drive in principle. From the CD everything is OK, but it does not work with a flash drive. Apparently some kind of jamb developers.
Try booting with the graphics card built into the processor. With Intel-graphics linux works great.
