Why can't images be loaded on ajax request in google chrome?

An ajax request from the server returns a piece of html that is inserted into the page, there was a problem with loading images in google chrome, their status remains "pending", and the header comes "CAUTION: Provisional headers are showns".

What could be the reason?

I think the problem is in the installed extensions. Already encountered this.
In my case, AdBlock was to blame.
Try testing in incognito mode (Ctrl + Shift + N)
