Why can't I run iptables on CentOS?

There is a VPS on CentOS. Trying to restart iptables: systemctl restart iptables
But getting an error:

Authorization not available. Check if polkit service is running or see debug message for more information.
Failed to restart iptables.service: Connection timed out
See system logs and 'systemctl status iptables.service' for details.

I write systemctl status iptables
the following output:
* iptables.service - IPv4 firewall with iptables
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/iptables.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: inactive (dead)
Condition: start condition failed at Tue 2020-07-14 13:26:06 EDT; 4 weeks 0 days ago
