Why can't I install Percona?

Hello. I decided to build Percona-server. I downloaded the sources from https://github.com/percona/percona-server/releases unpacked, moved to the folder, configured via cmake: cmake . -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DBUILD_CONFIG=mysql_release -DFEATURE_SET=community -DWITH_EMBEDDED_SERVER=OFF -DCMAKE_C_FLAGS="-O3 -march=native" -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS="-O3 -march=native" then make and make install. Everything went without errors. After starting the server, the version remained the same as it was. I looked at the make install log and did not notice the installation of mysql_safe there. Perkona has ready-made repos for ubunta and centos, you don’t need to compile anything
