Why can't I control a character in Unreal Engine 4?

When I run a scene in Unreal Engine 4 to test my character, I don't possess it (or how else can I say it?), I stay behind the camera that was on the scene. I searched the Internet, but did not find it. When creating a scene with a ready person and weapons, everything works perfectly. How do you move in and play as your character?

you must describe the system of working with the model, camera control, etc., just putting the model on the stage without scripts is not enough.
