Why can't hydra find the password?

hydra -f -w 100 -L log.txt -P pas.txt 192.168.43.1 telnet

The password and login from telnet are in the dictionary, the dictionary is not large (~ 10 passwords), but the hydra finds the password once out of five attempts

Not only does it not work for you ...
I tried gmail, it does not find it, although there is 1 password in the dictionary
