How to set up an SSH connection between two machines?
Hello!
Help please with a problem! There are two VMware VMs, both on Ubuntu 16.04.3 desktop. You need to SSH from the account on VM1 ([email protected]) to connect to the account on VM2 ([email protected]) . When I write ssh slave (an ip-address for VM2 slave is registered in /etc/hosts) it asks for a password! The password was specially set 12345 wherever possible, I enter it and get: Permission denied (password) . Please help me figure it out!

Yes, that's how it fits perfectly! On VM1, [email protected] appears immediately in the terminal . But ! When I deploy Hadoop , it starts running daemons on VM1 (master) , then wants to run them on
VM2 (slave) and then it asks for a password like [email protected]'s password: . The password 12345 (which I set as a specialist wherever possible) does not work! What is it and how to remove it!?
