There is a site on modx. it has a "news" section, this section is only visible when logged in as an admin. when not authorized not visible - 404.
"News" is, as I understand it, a resource of the second level of nesting.

Because the resource is not published. Such resources, respectively, will be visible only to the user logged in to the admin panel.
