Why can a laptop freeze tightly?
Good day to all!
We have: a laptop with a clean installed Windows 7 system (it costs only Office and Chrome).
During operation, the following things regularly happen:
1) The WiFi module spontaneously falls off (and so that it is not visible at all in the system, in the device manager - as if it were not there). This is relatively rare.
2) The laptop freezes completely. This happens almost every work session...
It looks like just a freeze frame on the screen and then there are no signs of life (even the status lights - and they remain in a static state). Happens spontaneously. The laptop turns off only by long pressing the Power button, when loading Windows 7 warns that the work was not completed correctly.
How to diagnose the problem - I can not even approach ..

Start by checking for adequate cooling.
Also, the symptoms seem to be problems with the equipment, something from the category of a crack in the board or a chip blade.
Try to boot and work with the LiveCD.
There was once a similar problem, the BIOS firmware for the new version helped. I also advise you to scan the memory with memtest
I had a very similar problem. Cured by changing the WiFi channel to auto
If there is a falling off wifi module, so maybe start digging from it? Hanging tightly can be caused by various factors, right. But I would start digging from there. Change the card / remove it altogether, run stress tests (checking the power and cooling system)
