Why aren't Sphinx index files created?

When I run the indexer command, I get a message that indexing was successful, but index files are not created in the right folder on the server.
I distributed the rights to the folder, there are no errors in the logs. Restart of the Sphinx after indexing did.
What could be the problem? Everything worked on a local computer with the same config.

Enable deep logging (verbose, debug).
Look.
And yes, who said that you look at the logs in that directory?
