Why are windows hta not displaying images?

Please tell
me On all versions of Windows except xp, png or svg are not displayed in hta, how can I fix this?

May not be supported. Because as far as I remember these applications had uncontrolled access to the Windows registry. Better use Electron or Chrome App if you want to write applications using web development knowledge
