Why are there so few orders in UpWork?

I specialize in support and development of sites on MODX Revo/Evo, I enter "modx" into the search and I see only 12 orders, and the most "fresh" one was 3 days ago, the rest 12, 15 days and older.
As I understand it, UpWork is one of the main exchanges and there can be no fewer orders in it than on our fl.ru.
What am I doing wrong?

Obviously, you have chosen a less demanded niche in the market. Do you want more orders? OK, everything is simple here: study the ratio of technology / number of orders, then study that very technology and go.

fl.ru has long been hacked and no one uses it! So, for Russians there is freelance.ru

I've never seen MODX on upwork (and in general)... Of the general purpose CMS, there are only Wordpress (out of competition, you have to filter to not see it), Drupal and Joomla.
