Why are the photos not opening?
Hello! There are experienced people here, so I turn to you for help. I deleted photos from the computer, after a while I restored them with the help of programs, I try to open it - the error “It looks like the format of this file is not supported” pops up. Photos weigh from 1 to 8MB. Please help solve the problem.

The format of this file is not supported, what is not clear yet?
Restoring files does not guarantee that it will restore them as they are.
After deleting files, the same sector could be recorded.
As a result, the recovery of the original photos is not guaranteed
. If the files are saved to the same partition (for hdd) and to the same Disk (ssd), then there is a high probability that you will get damaged files during recovery
Take a USB flash drive or an external drive to restore files to it. Scan recuva - it shows which files are intact and which are damaged. Do all this with a live cd so that no recording is made on the disk from which we are doing the recovery. The more time you use the disk, the fewer files you can recover
