Why are some MAC addresses in the DHCP console not in the standard form?
Hello.
Tell me what could be the reason for displaying non-standard mac-addresses in the DHCP console on Windows Server 2008.
Local area network using ethernet technology. There are some computers which are displayed in DHCP with long poppy addresses. As it turned out, this is a hash from the poppy address and some other information. There is one ipv4 scope on the DHCP server. If you look at arp -a IP_COMPUTER, then the poppy address of the standard form of 6 octets is returned.
